It's good that you even put thought into it.

There was reason behind the lack of context. You chose to respond by exploring many different contexts, while evading giving a concrete answer to any one of them. That's not very good data.

But it does tell us that you're putting thought into your words and actions, which, at the very least, is more than the bad among us can say for themselves.

It's also normal to be overwhelmed by someone's apparent adeptness who has been posting here for a very long time. There's much to learn, and people who wish to help those who are willing; on the other hand, there are many unique styles of communication which take persistent attention to become used to enough so that you can interpret them consistently. Personally, when I look back at my first couple years of posts compared to my more recent ones, I notice many areas of growth.

Not to say that there was anything in particular to learn from jd420's poll; more that the awkwardness in your response betrays some confusion that will probably reduce over time if you keep on participating. :)
