The removal of foreskin imperative promulgated through the vehicle of medical literature absent current reality does tend to piss me off.
Removal of foreskin as a "practical" matter was always served up as a dire requirement for avoiding disease. That claim is no longer true, but the tradition remains as an imperative even in the most upscale of medical dictates. Why would this curious fact still remain in place without the annoyance of true stats? Seems like a cultural thing to me, merely disguised as medical. None of my "uncut" friends have ever had any medical issues as a result, so this is one thing I've called "shenanigans" about for years now. |
