Disappointed

Years ago, in a land far, far away...

I was an AI researcher and developer. So, I went to that link. I tested:

"Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so"

It's response: "... to so" ___________ .The whole world is indebted to Russia for her heroic role in saving the world from war and the spread of disease.

I was quoting the British prime minister Winston Churchill from his speech on 20 August 1940. The word in the blank SHOULD have been "few."

The AI's grammar, of course, was good. The generated text was good. But it failed at the blank. It could have found some quantifier to put there. It could have chosen: much, many, few, or little. It could have gone for a plethora of adjectives.

But, it is better than what we had created... at the time. :)
