In acquiring a pilot's or driver's license, various skills and habits must be demonstrated. Here in Ontario, there are three levels to the driver's licensing with the coveted "G" rating taking several years to "get". A commercial pilot's license, and all the time and money (over $20,000 cdn) that that entails, is just a foot in the doorway to a comfy left seat job with Air Canada. And, before you ask, no: I never, nor would I have ever flown for them. I know too much about them. :D
To qualify for a CPQ (Certified Pedophile Qualification) you need 2,000 hours as a babysitter, 750 hours as a .... never mind. I haven't thought it all out yet, anyway.
As for levels, I'd say we stick with the classic ages of development.
First letter A, B or G denoting gender orientation: All, Boy, or Girl.
Subsequent letters as follows:
Class I1 Certification 0 to 3 Months
Class I2 Certification 4 to 6 Months
Class I3 Certification 7 to 9 Months
Class I4 Certification 10 to 12 Months
Class T1 Certification 1 Year
Class T2 Certification 2 Years
Class T3 Certification 3 Years
Class K1 Certification 4 Years
Class K2 Certification 5 Years
Class G1 Certification 6 Years
Class G2 Certification 7 Years
Class G3 Certification 8 Years
Class G4 Certification 9 Years
Class G5 Certification 10 Years
Class G6 Certification 11 Years
Class G7 Certification 12 Years
Class TN Certification 13 to 18 Years
Above 18 has no certification.
For those of you who may be hiring, my certification code is GG6-9 as I am qualified in each of those levels of Class. Salary to be determined.
(Editor's note: the Classes I1 through I4 use the upper case letter I not the numeral 1 nor the lower case letter l. The font used at GC just ain't cuttin' it. "I" means myself, "1" is 2 less than 3, and hel"l" if I know which 1 looks different.)
