I learned, somewhere, that girls are actually born with their lifetime supply of eggs. Is this true? Pfft... I dunno.

If it is, though, what if... WHAT IF... a prepubescent girl could have an egg extracted BEFORE puberty? Does puberty itself do something to the egg that makes it fertilization-able, or could it be artificially fertilized even though its provider is still a child?

I've looked for the answer to this for years. Not only have I never found the answer. I might even be the only one wondering:/
