What the NYPD requested is completely at odds with the charters of all levels of government in the United States, and completely at odds with the American conception of governance. It appears we have managed to allow in people who are completely at odds with America, and allowed them to take over the government.

I mean, I know this mostly happened in the mid-1800s with all the refugees from Europe, but there used to be at least some remnant of the original principles. The biggest mistake we ever made was to allow the government to take over the schools.
