(NEVERTHELESS, I might add, when I was 20, my much younger girlfriend (who's mother approved of us) was TOTALLY into the concert right along with me. In retrospect, she probably was just more into my enthusiasm and didn't have a clue why I thought they were so awesome, but that didn't matter! It only proves to me that she was someone more special than I even knew at the time, even though I still thought she was special. Why? Because despite all her "basic" nuttiness and lame humor, she was also a girl who both wore her heart on her sleeve and was in-tune with and sympathetic toward those around her, and taking great joy from seeing the joy in those she considered special. How common is that today? I submit not very. Prolly coulda married her and still be together today, but I was a jealous controlling loser at that age. My opposite compensation later also did me no favors.)
