Somehow I know this from many years ago. They will still ask to come inside without one, so they can snoop around in hopes of finding anything at all to aid them against you. They are not there to be your friends if they already suspect you like kids.

Be polite. Know your rights. Don't buy into the sympathetic partner's approach after the hostile partner has tried to shake your nerves. Don't buy into any "you help us, we'll help you" nonsense. There is nothing that legally holds them to that promise. Silence is golden. Offer nothing without an attorney present. A friend getting it all on video is even better.
