I am in Canada. I live in Toronto, Ontario. (There are millions of people here so it doesn't matter if anyone knows my city.) I am retired but I still dabble in aviation for the fun of it. I love sailing and have a small 30 footer on Lake Ontario. I am married to a Chinese girl (my third wife, so far...) I speak English quite well, a little French, even less Mandarin, but I used to teach American Sign Language (ASL, for the deaf/hard of hearing.) I've been in prison for a very long time but it was certainly not traumatic for me. I've been crime free with no legal strings anywhere; no probation, no parole. I am not on any "registry" so, I'm damm lucky. Upon finishing my "extended vacation", I came back home to Canada where I was born.

I write like an American because I spent most of my life in the States. I am ex-military (U.S. naval aviation, a brownshoe, an airdale) and have been to quite a few places. After my brief exposure to the Navy, I went on to do many, many other things from selling encyclopedias to blasting in a rock quarry to artificial intelligence researcher to teaching computer science to flying to places where a rabbit wouldn't go. I even performed surgery on my buddy, once. (Lol, at his request!)

Regarding this post and every post I write about myself describing my past, be advised that I was tried, convicted, sentenced to a very long time in prison, and I served the complete sentence. Be further advised that I am no longer practicing illegal activities today and that I refrain from doing so by my own choice, not from fear of legal entanglements or society's outrage. I remain crime free because I choose to.
