Cellphones now have access to the internet. Go to YouTube or some commercial website and, when some advertisement comes up, try to stop it or skip to the real reason you went to the site!

The other day, I used my cellphone to go to an website that had nothing to do with... whatever advertisement that blared into my face. I quickly looked for the "X" to close the window but there was none. My son-in-law asked me to turn that off. I pushed the "sleep" button on the side of the phone which did put the phone into sleep mode: the screen went dark. Yet, the dammmm commercial still blared out the speaker. It was still running. I pressed and held the "shut-down" combination of keys but got a screen burb: "Waiting for nnnnnn to finish..." and the goddam thing kept blaring out my screen.

I was that close to tossing the phone out the car window. Fortunately, it was cold and raining and my son-in-law looked at me surprised. (It's my third phone in as many months. I drop things a lot these days.)
