Back in the 1990s, I corresponded extensively with Lawrence Stanley (Ophelia Editions, Uncommon Desires, Alessandra's Smile, Mini-Models). In those days, the GL community existed in the real world.

Now, I have the moderator of one forum (not this one) calling me an "outsider" and another saying I haven't been around long enough to be considered for a moderator position (the latter despite the fact that I have worked as an editor on newsstand magazines, something no longer possible due to my "out" status as a Girl-Lover).

The GL community (such as it us) needs to wake up. We did not come into existence with the rise of the internet. It's time to recognize the true innovators and originators, and not to be tyrannized by the admins of certain forums (not this one), no matter how virtuous or *cough* visionary the pretend to be.
