Yes. One of several reasons I have not been posting as much at GirlChat as I used to is because I have been involved in many conversations at other places. Most of the conversations have nothing to do with girl love because part of the point is to be, and to be seen as, multi-dimensional, rather than as some automaton that has irresistible urges.

But the subject is a big enough one that it always comes up eventually - and for audiences that have been taught their whole life to hate us the thing to do is not so much to tell them the facts (which they will refuse to accept because they have been taught to refuse the facts) but to ask the questions that they have never asked, and haven't thought through.

If you ask the right questions they will discover the truth for themselves - though they might not like you very much at first, or ever.

I've been called all sorts of names.

If you're taking flak, that means you're over the target.

But it's no fun taking flak.
