Passwords here used to be visible to all with moderator access. I was a moderator at another now defunct board that was using the same program and I could see all of the passwords. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that someone who used to moderate here could have easily saved all the passwords of those posting here at the time. Believe it or not, I am trying to think of a less significant reason for it than the other possibilities.
