I have three computers (two are home business things). All three have Winblows 7 and will remain that way for as long as I can keep it that way. I'm sure there is nobody who sells Win7 anymore so I can say, I think, that my copies are [self edited]. Several years ago, a friend of mine asked me to update the little server (not the one I'm typing on) to Windows !0. I dragged my feet for months until I decided to jump into the fire.

I yelled and screamed, cursed and threatened to smash the very hard drive at its core. The MS Nasty was on the computer but I hated it deeply. With a twinkle in my eye, a flick of my wrist, and a gnashing of my teeth, I reinstalled Win7 and was happy again.

My son-in-law wanted me to put Windows !0 on his old computer. I told him I had Win7 for him but he said he needed SinBlows !0 so I yelled, and screamed, cursed and threatened to smash is only hard drive at its core. The MS Nasty was on his computer and, to this day, it still is. That's because it's HIS fuckin stupid thing. Imagine my comments when he complained to me, one day, of just how the fuckin stupid thing just wasn't doing anything to get his work done. I offered Win7 again. Declined.

A couple weeks ago, I discovered a paid-for key for that McNasty and, unfortunately, told another friend who uses the little server. Friend begged me to learn Win Whatever so I, for the third stupid time, I yelled, and screamed, cursed and threatened to smash is only hard drive at its core. The MS Nasty was on the little server again and, every single nerve in my body and brain screamed to get rid of that thing on the little server. Imagine my comments when Friend asked me how I liked Win !0. Eventually, perhaps 5 minutes of flaming epithets, I calmed down and smile over the phone: Window 7 is doing just like it always has.

I am happy again.
