I see quite often a misuse of the idea of attraction to minors. It is perfectly legal for an adult to have a consensual sexual relationship with a minor providing that the minor is over the age of consent (typically 16). Surely there is a more correct term to describe all who are under the age of consent. Apart from social stigma, there is nothing to stop an 80yo man having consensual sexual relations with a 16yo girl. (I suspect that social stigmas are largely fueled by envy).
