I'm assuming whatever I did (I don't remember. I just know I can't enter. Knowing my own personality, I guess the likeliest was that I flamed someone) was on the chat and not on the board. It's a rare occurrence but it happens.

Same as board bans can be temporary, as short as 24 hours, or permanent. The longest non permanent that I know was 1 year.
