About your fourth paragraph - I'm not here to judge you or anyone else, and I don't know what you do or don't do off the board, but I don't see anyone anywhere trying to make the world a better place for pedophiles - myself included. The last activist I know of was Lindsay and I have no idea what happened to him. I think there are two main options - doing things in person, which would be dangerous, or doing things online - which could change some minds, but I think there would be a cumulative toll after going through thousands of hate-fest replies.
