Reiterating: I never finished watching the movie, and what little I managed to watch on TV was years ago so I can't say I remember everything perfectly, but I don't remember laughing a lot while watching it.

And the moments I did laugh were not because of "haha, look at this loser, he has a doll for a girlfriend" kind of jokes.

It's not Adam Sandler humor.

I'd say if you found it even remotely interesting just give it a try :)
