Perhaps there are other factors too - I have certainly noticed, for example, that females with very similar attitudes towards children as we have tend to call themselves asexual - and for females it is culturally acceptable to have this sort of attraction to children - which all serves to reduce the number who come here (or who even tolerate us).

But a great part of the disparity is no doubt explained by heterosexual men who are not exclusively child lovers being able to pass as teleiophiles.
