You are right, I could have collected people´s IPs, I did not think of it.

Let me reassure you that this was not the intention. If I had wanted to do that I would have posted an invisible .gif and nobody would have probably noticed it, which reminds me that this can be replicated by anybody unless image posting is disabled.
