I'm not trying to complain nor condemn; I'm trying to learn.

I can understand spanking (and most of S&M) as a way for someone to sexually feel power (sadism) or vicariously rid ones self of guilt of some sort. Or, at least, that's how I have come to look at why people are into those two ways of getting sexual gratification.

But in some forms, urophilia does not seem to fit into either of those slots. A guy peeing on girls would be sadism, I would imagine. And girls peeing on guys probably is masochism. But what if they guy just wants to watch a girl pee, either in public, on the toilet, or simply omorashi (wetting ones self)? The Japanese are famous for their pornographic movies where girls do this. In the videos I've seen, there is no guy doing anything to the girl. She just squats and urinates. Or she is in (fake?) discomfort until she pees in her clothing or in bedding. In Japan, there even is a game show where girls see how long they can go before peeing. Guys get off on that. Why? It's not a desire to assert control (sadism) nor being punished in any way (masochism). What are the roots of such a fetish? And, what of pedo-urophilia? What of diaper play?

Watersports (as it's called) does not fit into the rubrick of S&M. So, why is it there? Is pedo-urophilic activities illegal so long as no touching is involved?
