Have we not survived recent attempts at breaking us?

No. We have not survived being broken. You, me, and all the people who live here, at VoA, and VirPed, and those still in the Toybox, none of us can have an open, free, and loving relationship with who we want. Thus, we are broken by "them". Sure, we eat, sleep, dream, and wish. But, so too, do others who are NOT like us. They can love openly. We cannot.

Have we not retained that which we require to break free?

For now, for the foreseeable future, we cannot, nor will not, break out of the shackles of Societal oppression.

Is this not just the beginning of our story?

Yes. Today is the first day of the rest of our lives.
