Things seem worse than they are because of the current MeToo/QAnon mood that seems to have a stranglehold on people's brains. It's betting better as increased access to instant global communication is allowing youth to become more empowered and expressive. Omegle, YouTube and many other platforms are helping in the process. The very rebellious nature of youth in the modern world with its traditional need to overthrow the old worldview of the previous generation is going to ensure sexual liberation for all. Rome wasn't built in a day ;-)
