Like I said before, I think this is a good idea and I'd like to see GCC used more often. I might pop in sometime. The same thing happens if I make a new scheduled chat at LL, it takes several times before people start to regularly show up, and we have a calendar and a "chat is open" notice at the top of BC and GC. GCC doesn't have that, so making a post at least a few hours (or even a day) in advance will help. Something like "I will be in the chat in three hours after I make this post for a few hours."
