I suppose it is quite possible for someone who is dim to use their knowledge of impostor syndrome to rationalize them being smarter than they really are - a case of impostor impostor syndrome, as it were.

But then the fact that they recognized their limitations indicates that they are not such an impostor that they don't feel like they are an impostor - impostor impostor impostor syndrome?

And so on.
