Really few anthems are especially good in their music. Of course some are definitely worse. Indonesia raya, that I know, hmmmm, and I'm not very convinced by Oh Canada or İstiklal marşi either. And Advance Australia fair is a letter to Santa.

I agree that an anthem without words, as Soyuz nerushimy was between Stalin and Brezhnev and as Spain's Marcha real still is, just are not very good.

But I do like the 70s lyrics. Better imho than the original Stalinist or the current Putinist. Other anthems are ok in music but the lyrics seem plain to me, such as God save the Queen, the Transdnistrian one and, hate to say it, even Gens du pays. Others are imho very undervalued such as Bože pravde, Els segadors and I'd say God save the South.
