Rittenhouse, as well as Baldwin who I think shouldn't be imprisoned either (Baldwin definitely was an accident, and the most he is guilty of is relying on production for something that every actor at that level would); will be made poster boys for anti gun people to push for harsher restrictions. That will affect every law abiding gun owner.

As it is it was fortunate that Rittenhouse was armed. Not with F15s and nukes either. Usually in such situations the system wpild aligns the opposite way. The prosecutor was just way, way too incompetent. Then again, likely he may have been just doing his job while realizing the case was unwinnable and not put in much of an effort.

But after all the lies told about him, Rittenhouse has good civil cases against many, many people. He doesn't strike me as the sort of person who would try it, but if he did he'd be winning the lottery.
