Death is bad in that others worry. Except in super primitive societies, inheritance is a chore. There is a a reason why Roman and Islamic inheritance were so successful.

And of course you are forgotten but would you care? The oldest historically supported people are Egyptian and Sumerian kings. Do they care that you know they existed?
