I find these mass cavings sad, pitiable, and infuriating but not surprising when you consider how powerful the SJW mentality is in the entertainment industry as a whole, including music. There are great numbers of creative people who, unfortunately, seem to have the specific personality traits and emotional issues that make them vulnerable to that type of thinking. Those that do not, but lean to the Left in general, are terrified of being ostracized or 'canceled' by the mob if they refuse to go along, so they do. Even staying tactfully silent carries risks of cancellation, a ruination of reputation, and all the usual names thrown at them that utterly terrify liberals and progressives.

This is what we are up against if we want an entertainment industry that is full of free thinkers and genuine creativity instead of "woke" bullshit and a policy of censorship and cancellation.
