This shitty shift we see in society is even trying to shame and eliminate things like father-daughter dances. It's utterly inexcusable and needs a firm and decisive backlash.

Little girls tend to adore their dads. It's something beautiful and biologically normal. Dads, either for good or bad, teach their daughters what sort of treatment to expect from and give toward their future boyfriends and husbands. Like it or not, dads are a little girl's first boyfriend.

Family units and heterosexual relations are demonized now. I think that much is clear, although the "why" can be debated.
