I started posting here in the beginning of June 2000, though in the beginning I used another nick, so I may well be the oldest active poster here. This fact was missed by one poster who said something like this a couple of years ago: "I have thought your case over and come to a conclusion that you are a decent GC poster" -- he said that as if I had been some newcomer, and imagine that at that point I had been here for over 20 years, since the beginning of GC, longer than the poster who said that!!!

And of course I had been active on the net much longer than that, on the sites that preceded GC. Everyone knew it, starletLuver, NFiH, AlbertRoss, Gater, and... and... all those old names. Only one poster thought that I am some newbie, but it just tells us something about the power of observation of the said poster.

So I may be the oldest active poster here, and maybe I will be the one who turns out the light in the end. If I could do something to the situation of GC, I would... but what could I do?
