Fayla was an authentic 15 year old mesophile activist who had an adult boyfriend in real life (he was not from this board; she began dating him before she found GC). She had her own web site and also made videos on YouTube during its earlier days.

However, she became an obvious target for the main two anti orgs of the time who monitored this board, Perverted Justice and Absolute Zero. This came to an unfortunate head when one of the posters here misguidedly and incorrectly thought she was a vigilante poser, and basically bullied her into feeling compelled to reveal her real life info here to exonerate herself. The moderators nixed the info as soon as they saw it and banned the poster who took his false suspicions into his own hands rather than reporting it to the administration to let them handle it. Unfortunately, someone from Absolute Zero saw the info and wrote it down before it could be deleted. They looked up the rest of her info and reported her presence here to her parents, her high school, and her local police.

She got banned from here by her family and pulled into therapy (no legal repercussions hit GC, since nothing illegal occurred here), and the local police and social workers grilled her (unsuccessfully) to report the identity of her real life adult boyfriend. She did have to end her relationship with him, however, and it did put the kibosh on her activism.

This didn't happen to another prominent underage mesophile activist, Ella, but she was scared off activism by constant intimidation by Absolute Zero, who falsely claimed that they were on the verge of learning her true identity and would report her to family and local police etc. Anyone from Virped or elsewhere who claims that underage mesophiles would be listened to objectively if they made their presence known and became activists are full of shit and they know it.
