It will be back. It is not certain exactly when though.

The technician in charge of the server was unaware that it was still in use. Some things need to be repaired before it can come back though, so it may be a couple of weeks. ETA: Feb 10.

Were there any issues with the functioning of chat? Now would be a good time to bring them up if there were.
