It's considered rude to give your response/opinion on a debate topic. Then close the topic to say you don't want to debate because you are above such things.

Whether I disagree or agree with you it matters not and for the record I mostly agree.

But, you were here to debate and dispute. You just want everyone to listen to what you have to say and you don't want to hear what other people have to say back.

That is not cool.
