It's common that certain words are preserved as sacrosanct no nos. This is what gives them their intended effect when used. If words lose the ability shock new words will take the place of the old words that where used to have shock value.

Larry Flint is character who I'd like to promote here. Larry Flint fought in court for his right to publish profane images of woman. To many he is a villain. To me he showed a fighting spirit and fought for his right to do what he loved in the face of those who considered him a degenerate.
