Because while you were nowhere in (my) mind, controversy attracts the masses from their highly bored doldrums, and encourages their (usually uninformed) and usually equally lacking substantive self-important input of opinion.

Nevertheless, feels of importance improve visits and ratings:)

Something (actually) important to remember anywhere that a thing tries to build itself.

Controversy always fuels revenue. It's a cancer across the western world:(
