Wouldn't be such a surprise to paint Elvis as manipulative or a perv. After all, that's the feminist dictate in film these days anywhere an older male and younger female find love. Absolutely no other possibility is tolerated.

OTOH, the director's hubby always gave me a GL'er vibe himself, so who knows what to expect.

Yeah, I still expect a negative portrayal of him.
