After all we still use meter instead of medieval absurdities like foot and yard and mile, we still use decimal currency (even post-Brexit UK doesn't want to return to pound/shilling/pence - not to mention guinea) and so on. So why not revive the revolutionary calendar? -- at least it is based on real historical event, not a vague unreliable legend.
