I don't claim to know every girl lover's draw to girls, but for me personally, a vulnerability that seeks protection from an adult male figure is one facet of my love- the more "socially respectable" part, I suppose. She conveyed that need to an extreme, and it melted me like butter.

From photos, she did lots of downtime bonding with her Scandi co-star. The pics have an intimate feel. They look spontaneous, even though this bonding could have been encouraged for the sake of the realness of the scenes. Easy to insert my own interpretations, and to imagine he is me. Lucky B.

Not such a terrible score on the Rotten Tomatoes either. Maybe it was better than I am giving it credit for. It's been some years. I definitely recommend it. Seems there is some "Scout" film not long after it, which I would be curious to see if only I knew where to watch random films I'd like to see years later.
