I tried to reply to your post last week on my phone but GC told me "Love2uall doesn't need a password"... I was like... Ooo...K... But then I tried without a PW and it said I need to enter one to post here, and then it would tell me again I don't need a PW... In other words I couldn't post.
I don't know if my phone is hacked or if there's problem with GC, but here it is:

Well maybe GC had its purpose after all.
But there's still a lot of work to be done about consciousness that we're not all a bunch of idiots trying to replace a woman or a man.
I hope it will be understood eventually.
Even psychiatry still thinks that we're delusional and have inappropriate 'beliefs'.

And I'd add this (today):
maybe I had too much hope or expectations at the time when GC was at its height, I really invested a lot of my time and energy at the time, but I see that the attempts made by many GLs to make people see who we are and working on acceptance didn't work much, I remember the theatre piece that was supposed to be played in NY but never did, some of the GLs here openly admitting their orientation in public, and some doing interviews, but we're still being oppressed and oh for sure the gay and trans people can lead a better life, but not us, still nothing about us being in the work, AFAIK...
And we surely don't have strength in numbers, and general people just don't give a fuck about us.

So that's what I was saying actually, that even after 25 years of discussion and some trying to work on consciousness of the people I don't see any significant change.
And I will not forget my friends of Le jardin d'Alice getting arrested and some imprisoned just to please the ego of a journalist and the police, as these friends never really did anything wrong, they have never hurt a child AFAIK, and probably wouldn't want to also.
