Back in the day, Ian Hodgson (now deceased, known as Somersault @ BoyChat), had a small book that was available on Amazon. I'm not even sure if it was on this topic, I'd have to look into it and remember. As an old retired man on a fixed income, it was one of Ian's only sources of revenue and it barely brought him any extra income, but he was proud to be a published author.

It had been there on Amazon for some time. Nothing legally dubious about it, no complaints. Some antis lurking around BC got wind of it somehow and threatened Amazon with bad PR, which coincidentally was the same tactic they once used to get this site kicked off the Verizon backbone server many years ago. More or less a blackmail tactic which is now very common today with woke mobs. Censor "XYZ" or we will destroy your company with negative PR, boycotts, etc.

Well, Amazon quickly bent to their threat and demand, and Ian was left with one less income source and one less little source of pride. People can be real bastards.
