You have to read this article very carefully. Technically it's accurate but... look at it critically.

Understanding Feline Mating: Instinct, Not Human Morality

It’s a question that comes up when people witness cat mating for the first time: the process looks forceful and aggressive, leading some to ask if it’s akin to rape. It’s a jarring observation, but it’s important to understand why applying that human term to animals is a misunderstanding of their fundamental nature.

The behavior we see is startling to us because we view it through a human lens. In reality, what’s happening is a complex dance of instinct and evolutionary biology, entirely devoid of human-like malice or intent.

Here’s the key context often missing:

The Female is in Charge: A female cat (a queen) will only allow mating when she is actively in heat. During this time, she vocally calls, rolls, and signals her readiness. If she isn’t in heat, she will violently reject any male’s advances. Her "consent" is this biological state and her behavioral signals.

It’s a Biological Trigger: Cats are "induced ovulators." This means the female doesn’t release eggs until after mating occurs. The male’s seemingly aggressive behavior is a necessary physiological trigger for reproduction in this species. The female’s resistance is also a natural part of this instinctual process.

Instinct ≠ Human Motivation: The male cat’s actions—biting the scruff, the brief and forceful act—are hardwired instincts. He is not acting out of a desire to dominate or harm in a human sense; he is following a biological script millions of years in the making. Applying a human moral concept like rape, which involves intent and understanding of consent, is a category error known as anthropomorphism.

In short, while the domestic cat mating ritual is forceful and driven purely by instinct rather than mutual pleasure, equating it to the human concept of rape is scientifically inaccurate. It projects a complex social and criminal construct onto a basic biological process.

Understanding this distinction helps us better appreciate the fascinating and often stark differences between animal instinct and human society.

So... I'm hardwired to be sexually triggered by little girls. I'm following my biological script millions of years in the making. Also so... the male cat does not get pleasure?
