With all of the cool and sometimes provocative shots of Shirley Temple on the net (I even found one upskirt shot), I began to wonder about Darla Hood and other "child starlets" and photos of them on the web.
I found a cheese cake shot of Darla Hood which was reported in a previous post.
I began to wonder if there was more out there. So I began to look up the names of preteen starlets of the 30s.
I found pretty much zilch. Most photos were either publicity shots or movie stills. Considering the times, a paycheck was a paycheck, and taking a few private photos probably would not been out of the question, especially if a girl hadn't had a break in films yet.
Some where out there, there's gotta be an archive of "specialty" photos for collectors with "sophisticated tastes".
