The Circumcision moral dilemma

Those who support the circumcision of the male have a severe moral dilemma to face.

While there are those who very wrongly claim that many males need to be circumcised for health reasons, I feel that this has been very well debunked for 99.9% of males. And to be clear: This argument in itself has a moral dilemma. Whether or not you believe males should be circumcised to prevent masturbation, UTIs, AIDS/HIV, cervical cancer in women, etc, the fact remains here that you are stating males are defective from birth and require surgical correction! This alone screams misandry.

So, now that's out of the way! Let's get to the true moral dilemma.

The proponent of circumcision either believes:

1) Males are expendable.
This, of course, is misandry in itself, and such has been very common throughout human history. It's been estimated that over 100 baby boys in the USA alone die every single year due to circumcision complications. Not to mention all the botches and complications that do not result in death. So if circumcision is justice, males would then indeed be - expendable. I know that most people agree that circumcision is merely cosmetic, or religious, whether or not they agree with the procedure.

2) Males do not suffer because of circumcision.
This would be akin to some sort of holocaust denial. It is denying human suffering. I have never really heard anyone claim that males do not suffer at all during, or because of, circumcision. Fact is circumcision is extremely painful, and depending on country and culture, males are not given anything to relieve the pain. And often attempts to make circumcision more pain-free do not work at all. And of course, there's the pain during recovery - as well botches, and deaths, as already mentioned. I feel that denying these occurrences raise even bigger moral questions.

That's a moral dilemma right there if there ever was one!

I've got into a lot of arguments with people about circumcision... never once has anyone been able to weasel their way out of this dilemma with any kind of reasonable argument.... in fact, they almost always run away and cower from the debate.
