i can see why they would make you sign something that wont allow you to discuss past "victims" and their identity for privacy reasons. we have to let the abused try to get on with their lives without more public humiliations.
("look at that poor child. she was one of THOSE kids,the ones who get touched. how sad for her and her family...." gossip,gossip,gossip) but to make someone "promise not to tell" about a program that is supposed to heal sex offenders and is used as THE only acceptable method,i find that highly disturbing. reminds me of the experiments they did on mental patients in the 20's and 30's. it was all very scientific and hush hush as thousands of people were tortured,sometimes to death.

there is something called the freedom of information act as well as the privacy act. very cool how they can violate our rights and ignore our privacy
yet insist on keeping information secret from the public.

what is the penalty for talking about the program? unless it was really severe,i would take notes as i went through the program and inform everyone who cared to listen....but thats just me. i resent authority,especially when it is uncalled for...
