Surely Jack's case isn't about freedom of speech at all.

Surely it is. It's what he says, not his actions that have got him into trouble. Many people go to public events and take pictures. This is not illegal or unusual, and they can't stop you from doing that.

If a judge is going to order a restraining order againsts someone, then they must have a justifiable reason for doing so. In this case, there is no justifiable reason. Simply for admitting your a pedophile is not justifiable, and is a free speech issue.

One of the things I hear over and over again is this: Jack's site is place where sexual predators can go to learn how to stalk children.

Bullshit.

Many more people have used Myspace and other websites for that purpose. It is not Jack's fault if people use the information he posts on his website for illegal purposes, nor did Jack ever intend for anybody to use it for that reason -- nor has anybody ever used it for that reason!

Furthermore, if these people honestly believe sexual predators needed Jack to tell them where to find children, then they have less intellect than the children they claim to be trying to protect. Every sexual predator knows where his or her local mall is, for fuck's sake.
