As to what you are saying in the post: yes, there are plenty of guys who are attracted to both girls and women. My personal feeling would be, if this guy actually molested your daughter - if this was coercive and non-consensual - then I would think it would not be wise to get involved with him. But then I don't know him. You know the situation and you know the man: look at it objectively, consider what actually happened with your daughter, and take the route that you know is the right thing to do. That's my best shot at this, I'm sorry if it's not very helpful.
