yes, the life of a child is more valuable. I lived for more than 50 years, the child lived for only a couple of years.

This is my personal experience of course, but my fatherly protective instincts have always been much stronger than the pedophile feelings.

I'm protective towards A. but I don't mind if adult man consider her sexually attractive. At the same time I have to admit I don't like the thought of her having sex with an adult man.

No rational thinking here, I know, just those damned fatherly feelings :-)
