1) Your question presupposes that boy meets girl and they live happily ever after, which by definition assumes that either they never change, or that they change and grow together in lockstep. Absurd.

2) Many guys want to find a girl who is young enough to have not yet been "ruined" and grow together with her. If he assumes the mantle of mentor, they can continue to bond until she is well into her adult years.
Here the road can fork; they can part or not.

2a)If they remain together the relationship will go from mentor-mentored to the ordinary male-female pairing.
2b) If they part, in such a case it will likely be the girl who breaks off the relationship, leaving him to find another young girl to mentor.

3) Since most marriages end in divorce, it is not logical to assume that a pedophile's relationships will never end. Again, this "permanence" that you hold up to be the desired "standard" assumes that the people in the relationship never change; not a reasonable assumption.

4) That shoe fits the other foot also; what if she grows and decides to leave you, which is just as likely to happen as the obverse?

Trying to cast pedophiles in the role of villains who use a girl and then throw her away, patently unfair to begin with, also overlooks the men who do the same with grown women, as if it is somehow acceptable to deceive a woman who is a certain age but not someone under that age; a dichotomy that is illogical at best.
