Takoma Park, 16/17 year old voter turnout

930 18+ votes

22.4% of the population is less than 18. Assuming equal distribution, that's 2.6% of the population or 440 people. So 13.4% voter turnout.

12966 are not minors. 7.2% voter turnout.

Seems that at least some take advantage of the right to vote when given it. Maybe it will decline as the nuance wears off. Maybe they will continue to vote as 18-25 year olds. And 6% is enough of the population to swing elections for competitive seats and change conversations.
